    wooden pipe, brass perhaps on top and by mouth piece, appears to have had 3 metal ornaments on it. One is visible as a female head bust stamped and one is almost all gone and the third one is gone.

      That isn't a mouth piece, that is where the stem plugs in. That opening may help you identify the pipe. It should be marked (engraved) on the under side where the stem plugs in.

      No marking anywhere? Mouth (stem) piece is missing.
