    can any one tell me what plane this is? i think it is #44. i belive it is made of the gun metal material. is it a humpback?

      Not really sure from your pics but we had a unit in my High School Woodworking class that appeared to be similar, it was for cutting tounge and groove work on the edges of wood for joining.
