I'm looking for more information about the above doll for my Nan. She got it for her 10th Birthday in 1948. The only thing I have been able to find is she is possibly a Trudy 3 faced doll.
She is in great condition in orginial clothes. She is 17" (43cm) tall. Her knob is on the top of her head to turn her faces
Any more information about where she was made, value etc would be wonderful.
She is a Trudy 3 face doll . Made of Composition .Trudy, is an Elsie Gilbert Creation, Trademark of the Three-in-one Doll Corp. and says Sleepy, Weepy and Smily on the back of tag. The felt covered button on top of her head is used to rotate the head to show three faces.
. Many kids were afraid of her and so to find one in good condition is not to hard . find . She is in very nice condition :-)
