I really want to refinish this and use it as a TV cabinet does anyone know what this would be dated as it looks midcentury to me or maybe a little after anyone know anything about this item

What you have is a mid to late 50s console radio cabinet. In the top 2 compartments on the left would have been a record player, on the right the radio with record storage below, the very bottom the speaker mounted to a piece of plywood covered in a textured material. I have one very similar to yours from the early 50s , the only difference is mine has more rounded corners. Hope this helps you.
custom craft cabnets 1955...sw and standard radio with turntable that rolled out ........mines working but short wave is just static radio works,,have a great day..sandy..
