my $10 singer 21 w 180

Hi my name's jeff I recently bought this old singer 21 w 180 for $10 wow what a deal. I'm always looking for old equipment at low price, this piece fit my criteria and budget. Now I'm just starting to examine it as I'm very mech inclined n seems to be much like a combustion engine with the cranks hats and camshafts and the timing of the two or more. Anyways I could use any help someone might have to offer. The Internet seems limited with info. Also I've never operated a sew machine. Yet look forward to being able to sew my own denim n upholstery. Thank you in advance for any assist....
