Found this clock on holidays and had to get it.

Hi, I found this old clock on holidays and had to buy it I liked it so much. would really like to know where it may have originated from, clock was not running but since then have given it a clean and got it going again, the only markings on it are a 27 on the back, it's marble with brass lions and an eagle on the top and stands around 45cm tall and 25cm wide, thanks
