My "New" Lamp Shade

Just got this gorgeous shade with original tag still attached stating "Season of 1929." It lists the frame number and all of the materials and amounts that went into making it. The back of the label is marked $2.45. Was this a floor model? I bought it to go with the blue deco lamp, but when I got it home, the blue didn't match and the shade is too fancy for the base. Regardless, I love it. I had to fight for it at the consignment auction tonight. I was about to give up when the other bidder gave up with me winning it at $27.50.
