I was given the larger bear for my first birthday and I am 46 years old, the smaller one was found at an antique shop, cost $5. He was soaking wet and very unhappy. Both bears have movable arms and legs, nylon fur,. Both loved bears.

I have recently inherited one of these (the left) from my mum and stumbled across this page... Mine looks just like yours! Although one of his arms has fallen off...
Mine has one of his eyes replaced with a button.
He seems to be filled with wood shavings or similar as he is very stiff. His limbs swivel with cardboard and metal discs inside.
I don't think he was actually mum's bear as a child - i have a feeling she obtained him at some point, perhaps thinking he could be valuable.
Any advice about where to re-home this bear would be appreciated!

Hi there, I have one of these like your small bear. I found mine at the op shop for $2. He is in beautiful condition but no tag except a little grey tab on his left elbow. I am trying to find who made this bear. I am going to upload a photo
