The algonquin e546 is a 8'6 fly rod. This was made back when fenwick rods were being made outside toronto ontario. I have seen a few of the e540 9 foot rods, but have not come across any more of the 8'6 besides the one i own.
The rod itself is a fenwick blank that algonquin used to make their brand of rod.
As for the reel i dont know much about it other than its mastercraft. I have only seen one other example of the reel, but it was a very dinged up one. Any info anyone has on the reel would be appreciated, such as manufacture date and such
