I bought this vase over 10 years ago. The thing I thought was unique about this vase was the glazing. All the primary butterflies and flowers are raised higher than the porcelain. Now keep in mind the the porcelain is not raised under the butterflies and flowers just the color glazing. It looks all hand painted. It is approx. 15" high and the largest width is approx. 9 1/2 " the base 5 3/8 ".
The picture quality is poor but its the only camera I have. I haven't found another vase with this type of glazing that is raised this thick on the vase. Does anybody no what this process is called? I don't know if it is valuable either because I just can't find anything to compare it to. Can anybody tell me anything about this vase.
Thank You

beautiful! i recognize the mark - Jingdezhen!
mark da qing qianlong nian zhi ( 1736-1795) this not the real period,
IMO they probably they faked a late grosso modo ( take care grosso modo) TONGZHI -GUANGXU PERIOD STUFF
. ( got very bad eyes in the neck
bottom vase under, the so called greek keyfret border = meander border = MITLA border
above this border is the so called traffic light border
in the neck o the bottle( i got very bad eyes)ACANTHUS LEAVE
and under that the famous DECAPITATED RUYI HEADS
so they borrowed a design which is often used TONGZHI ( and incidentaly qianlong, but the underborder are actually a shut out this way
IMO ( i am not an expert in this) it is not GUANGXU either it is missing the bleech afterglaring and ter are some tecnical problems in the design , the alignment and the proportion of the wings of the butterflies
they use templates ( sorry it .s hard to see for me)and ) and the rest of the application is OUSIDE -IN ( there is no dissipation)
so my rather wild guess would be a rather nice vase not dated befote 1920, it is not that valuable
waki
i am an asxxxx made a rookie fault , it is not a template, the discongruency in the traffilight borders are too big and rather much, sloppy work of me , but the dating remains the same this is export porcelain
