    Collectabl…
    (3 items)

I bought this at a flea market from a dealer who said it had been purchased in France. All it consists of is a wooden handle nearly 7 inches (17 1/2 cm) long to which is attached a wavy narrow steel bar the end of which is folded over to form a loop. I suspect string, narrow rope or elastic was attched but it's only a suspicion. Any body seen anything like it, do you know what it was used for

Judging from the shape/color of the ends of the wood, it looks like it was a part of a bigger item.

Something for dipping things?? The very end could be used to hold something....while the grooves/bumps along it -- would be for the grooves/bumps to rest on something -- depending on how deep it was dipped.

Just a guess -- maybe something for making Candles ......???

      BUT JUST GUESSING......??
