Red Marbled Rindskopf Vase

Rindskopfs in this shape are plentiful, to find a pulled feather Rindskopf design you just need to open the eBay any day, and the red marbled vases are also not rare. But when you want to combine these three features into one, things become tricky. I saw vases in this design five years ago, one was damaged, the other one sold for a ridiculous amount because it was in a nice mount. I thought that within a year I would certainly find one, but no, it took me five years to stumble upon a decently priced one. And stumble I did. It was on the upper shelf of the glass department in Vienna's Dorotheum, at the level of my eyes and nose. Looking at the lower shelves I managed to pass it twice and then, disappointed at not seeing anything of interest, I finally looked up and there it was. 8'' tall.
