9cm tall and 13cm wide at the top. Earthenware. Has BS incised into the base. The B looks a little like Australian Bernard Sahm's mark. I know in the 1950's he was invited by Bernard Fiegal to work at 'Terra Ceramics' for a while and then travelled to Europe to Gutenhalde Ceramics in Stuttgardt.for a brief period. Here he could have experimented with Earthenware and the mark could possibly be an early developing version of his recognised mark today.
If anyone can give me an opinion on the dish, mark or my thoughts, that would help to identify the mystery, it would be very welcome.

I don't think it's Bernard Sahm anymore, I've re-evaluated the mark and I think it's PS not BS.
