I found this chair for sale at a thrift and really liked it's style. I've looked all over the internet and even asked a man who sells monterey furniture what it is but he didn't know either. Better than a Morris chair because it has the brass latches under each arm to let you recline or sit up without standing up. The leather straps holding up the cushion was a nice touch.

I have a chair exactly like this one. I haven't been able to find out who made it either. It belonged to my great grandparents. Very well made...I love it. I would like to find more information on it. Have yu had any luck?
