This is another scent bottle I found with the elephant. I love this one more than the other.
This stands 8cm tall and is hand painted (I believe)

I was wondering if anyone here would know any ideas on how to clean this. I believe some of the black marks are paint but there is clear dirt as well and I don't want to take any of the paint off?
Though very appealing, your "scent bottle" is, as the elephant a modern chinese snuff bottle :-/

The black is paint, because the base is plain red molded resin. I'm afraid any attempt to clean would remove it!
