I have no cue as to what they are. I was told they are covered in elephant skin. When it comes to these kinds of thing I'm lost.. You can see on the bottom where they were wrapped. If anyone can help I'm all ears. There as one base that said made in Japan, it is made of wood

Awesome!! Thank you for the help kyratango. I didn't think it was real elephant skin just by the texture. It looked way too smooth to be elephant. Are the ears leather as well?
