It looks like a porcelain European Oil Lamp....there should be some info. on the thumbwheel on the burner. RER

Can't help too much with Euroean lamps but that shade is a beauty. RER
I agree on the shade & wondering if it's original to the lamp ? Let's face it, they don't give out much light.
Love the glass shade ; it's lovely !
