    These caught my eye today. They were sitting on a shelf and I noticed a hint of purple in one of the cups that made it a different shade than the rest. I recognized this as the tint that comes from glass having magnesium and being exposed to UV light. I am currently trying to look up the pattern.

      it's manganese in glass that turns purple with UV exposure
