I found the chair near Carthage, North Carolina. There were, I believe they are called, horse hair cushions when I bought it. There are no markings on the chair that I could find. I thought it was mission style but I have not seen one with spindles on the top of the back. the dimensions are 52" high, 32" at the widest point and 30" from front to back. There are 1/2" diameter holes drilled into the bottom of each leg that would suggest wheels? Appreciate any help in identifying.
I really enjoy sitting in the chair as much as I enjoy looking at it. The wood has a rich petina, the back cushion extends to the sides and seems to wrap around you. Its extremely comfortable and it makes me feel good.
