I picked up this wonderful vintage photograph recently. It is a 5 x 7" (studio?) portrait of an actor and make-up artist. The actor looks very familiar but I've been unable to figure out who it might be. Does anyone recognize either him or his make-up artist?

I don't recognize him. I just have a "feeling" he may be Scandinavian
You may be right. Maybe German? The make-up artist looks like he might be Asian. It is hard to tell from that angle.
To me, they look like they are from good old USA...Hollywood type. The Make up artist does not look Asian to me......kinda looks like the back of Howard Huges head ( or what he might look like from the back )...LOL
LOL--I can see that, too! Still feel like that actor is someone I should know. If it is Hollywood, hopefully some expert film-buff will be able to identify the actor for us.
