While most plates are indeed junk at thrift store, sometimes you find old ones.
Of course, most of these are still junk. But, they're pretty junk.
Two seem to be dated, 1904 and Dec 6 93.
Two are signed, one an E Laport and another Jean something or other.
All hand-painted.
American, French, and Italian.
It is no. 3.
These are so beautiful!!! I would never call them junk !
Thank you, Martika. In the end, though, they do not give me any eternal or moral benefit, so they are excess baggage that cannot be brought with. And that, my friend, is junk.
They were probably European porcelain blanks hand painted by a talented hobbyist, as was popular during the late 19th century into the 1930’s.
