Victorian machine threaded rainbow glass single epergne on metal stand

This unusual single epergne is made from clear glass overlaid with extremely fine machine threading that shades to rainbow colours at the top. It is mounted on a brass stand that resembles a naturalistic, twiggy branch. It measures 15 cm tall, & 10.3 cm across the top rim.
I believe this to be of English origin, late Victorian to Art Nouveau.
