This pink depression glass pitcher; I am identifying this as dogwood pattern. Question is that there is a slight chip on the rim. How does that impact the value?

I am just starting to categorize my mother's depression glass collection and trying to figure out the best way to start. This is the first time on this site and very excited to start the categorization.
