We found these plates in a house we bought furnished. They were in the back of a cupboard. the previous owner was German and a collector. Any ideas about these plates?

This beautiful plate was made by Union Ceramique in the early 1900-20’s, however I suspect it was a blank, painted by a talented amateur, or a decorating studio, as was very popular in the late 19th, early 20th century.
If you hold the plate at an angle, you should see that the gold is over the clear glaze, not underneath, if it was painted after
