This appears to be a Railroad switchyard light to let the engineer know if the desired switch was good to go or not. If someone can give me a value and any info on this it would be much appreciated! It has a wood base that allows it to stand upright and the light can come apart from the base, there is a cable that goes to a light inside the lantern. I don't know the time period of this item. The pictures were right side up so I don't know why they came up so when I uploaded them.
