Please help me identify this "Aladdin's Lamp" Tea Pot from India

This has been in my family for ages. No idea who made it or what it is made of. My guess is that it is brass cause it's kinda heavy. About 12" in height. Any help would be appreciated!

We have the same thing here in good ole PA, but this one has a small flower and the number 1730 a on the bottom. There seems to have been some paint, but it's pretty much worn off. This came from my in laws house and heaven only knows where it came from.

I have the same 1 mine says india 861 on the bottom and part of the spoout is broken

I have two of them, here in Indy. They have such a nice silhouette, had to keep them. Sorry not much help on info.
