Victorian glass lidded jar with applied acanthus leaf

This Victorian glass lidded jar is made from opaque ivory coloured glass which contains uranium & glows under UV light. It measures 12.5 cm tall, 7 cm across the top, & 8 cm across the base, which has a polished pontil mark. The jar has an applied acanthus leaf in clear & pink glass, & an applied footed base shaped like four leaves in clear glass. The metal fittings are not marked in any way. This was sold as "Murano glass." :-)
