My grandmother gave it to me and I want to know more about it. Gold pin with deep red crystals. I got it from her in the 1980's. I have no idea how old this is.

it's a gorgeous color! A photo of the back is necessary. You can edit your post and add up to four photos. Is it gold or gold tone? If yes to gold, are there any marks on the back?
Very pretty and looks like garnets but like Efesgirl said you need to photo back . She is good at dating it for you if you do that .
The front is out of focus - so please would you add a new photo of the front too?
