Bought this 20 years ago at an upscale home sale. This had been donated by a wealthy member of an exclusive high end private country club. I have searched for years on the maker's mark, coming up blank. This is quite solid and heavy weighing 13 1/2 pounds.
Measurements are:
15" high by 11 1/2" wide
I believe this to be made in France, but am not positive.

I think this is French by Louis Lourioux. Very rare and collectable. He used two marks; this one with LL and wings and the other one is a running female wolf. He was killed in a car accident at the age of 35.
