Almost completed restoration of my early 70s , Fred Lowen designed Twen chair.
Previous listing showed a very sorry looking treasure.
The woodwork has been done. It feels so tactile and silky smooth.
I was worried about my choice of zepel fabric , however, seeing the almost completed restoration left me almost speechless.
The fabric lustre's in different light directions.
A rich teal in one moment, then a rich chartreuse in another.
I'm so happy to bring this treasure back to life to be appreciated and enjoyed.
Looking fab. Good choice there!
I don't want to sit in it now. I'll sit in another chair and just look at it!
Fred would be proud :)
All that is left to do is a small armrest on each wooden arm.
Nothing too big and certainly not detracting from the presence of the natural wood .
