    Got this at a recent auction and have never seen an insulator this large. About 14" tall and 7" or 8" in diameter. Hollow ceramic though a small something rattling around inside. Likely a small pc of ceramic. Only holes are are where the top bracket is mounted. No markings I can see anywhere. Will likely incorporate into sometype of lampnor perhaps as hanging light as a counterweight. Any insight as to origin is appreciated.

      Probably mid-century high-voltage power transmission. Possibly in a transformer station, from what I saw of an old one being demolished.
