I have always said that if you could walk and breath at the same time in Milwaukee there was a badge for you at some time in the past. With this badge I am another step closer to proving that statement. Here we have a gold face star made by Schwaab for a member of the Electric or electrician License or licensing Examination Committee of Milwaukee city. I am guessing this would have been a committee since it would have been under of the city civil service commission. I could not find it listed in the city charters of 1914 or 1934 but the city does require an electricians license to apply for any city electricians job.
