I'm trying to figure out the sign/engraver's name. It's English/U.K. from 1891-1895.
Any information would be greatly appreciated..

I'm pretty sure it says "Whiteside Mfg".
Actually "Whiteside Manf."
You've got the period right. This was actually a UK division of a U.S. company established in 1867 in Rhode Island. The UK branch was established in 1891. The company made water tube boilers for propulsion of ships and the first NY subway, initially, then moved into nuclear propulsion.
I haven't found anything on the old Whiteside Manf. Co. yet.

Whiteside likely would have been the maker of the brass sign. There is a company by that name in the UK now that makes mechanic's crawlers and other related products, but they were established in the 50's. It may or may not be related.
