Set of 6 Wood Carving Plaques

I've had this set of carved wood plaques for a few years but unsure where there from. I'm sure it is a Pacific Island but not sure . They are beautifully painted and nicely carved. Also unsure of age although to me it looks by the wood as mid century. Any information is helpful.
