Can any one tell me any thing about this . Made in two parts can see braze/weld on under side can not see any markings as to who made it . Or when it was made . Very heavy

If you showed the under side and bottoms of the feet it might help. Looking there might show whether it was rotary ground or filed off. That makes a difference when you try to date a metal object. Is it magnetic?
