antique quilt created in 1850 and in TN ..would like to know the name of the Pattern as I would love to tell the owner of the quilt more about the history and the significance of it's still being in existence and was not donated to the Civil War units, on both sides..we lost so many heirlooms during this time in history so it is remarkable to find one that is this well preserved.
