I believe this crystalline vase is Chinese and was wondering if I could get anyone to help interpret the markings on the bottom of the vase and who may have made/produced it. I don't think it's old but has a very nice design on it. It measures 10-1/2" Tall x 3" Across the Top x 6-7/8" Across the Widest Point x 3-3/4" Across the bottom of the vase. And would the shape of the vase be considered a genie style vase or is it called something else?? Any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you Trex

Hey Paul(Trex), I forgot to welcome you to CW! Welcome! :^D
I love these Crystalline Glazed Pottery pieces, and get them when I can, yours is a beauty! I hope that you get some help with the bottom mark, not sure that it's Chinese though, but I'm sure someone will! :^)

Hi there, you are correct on the fact that it isn't old, but nonetheless, it is a stunning piece. In fact, I just purchased one today at my local Salvation Army. Anyway, your vase bears the hallmark for the Kinmen Ceramic, I think, possibly a specific studio on the Island of Kinmen, Taiwan. Not an expert on Asian porcelain but I read, write and speak Mandarin...so hope that helps!

This is a very nice piece of crystalline pottery and the mark on the bottom says 'Made in Jingdezhen'. i've had some similar ones.
