Here's a little Vogue baby doll I found at an estate sale in with a box of Tammy clothes. Does anyone know when it was manufactured? What's the metal circle in its back? A squeaker? It looks like a drink and wet baby but I haven't tried it out. There was no bottle! Thanks -- appreciate any information.
If it is 8 inch tall look like "Ginnette " 1960's .
Hi Manikin -- yes, it is about that big. I think it was made in '57 because I think it has a squeaker. Thanks for your input.
Ginnette had a squeaker but that does not tell age since she was made for several years before they changed her a bit . Yours has sleep eyes , Prior dolls had painted eyes So she dates over a long time period 57-69 . Would be impossible to exact date her unless it was given to a person that remembers what year they received her , Otherwise she spans that time period and is collectible doll :-) Many times when people list her they guess at date .
