Mini America's Cup

I have owned this piece for 40 years. It was a gift to me from my parents.
It was bought from a collector in Toronto, Ontario. That collector had no idea what it was. My Dad did.

Although missing some handle detail, it is a mini America's Cup. Gorham, (746), as I understand, was also responsible for the creation of the actual America's Cup.

I cannot match the date code to any that I have been able to track down.
