I am seeking information regarding the hasp and lock plate on my hide covered trunk....I feel the trunk may be dated 1780’s to early 1800’s.....wondering if anyone has seen a hasp like the one in the photo......I have been told it’s style may be British but hoping someone may have some information.....the trunk itself can be viewed on my Collectors Weekly page....any information would be helpful....,,,thanks.
