I have searched old farming catalogs, but haven't been able to find any listing for it. It's about two feet long. I'm trying to find a name for the tool and what it was used for.

Lots of shadows in the pictures but I would say it is an old hand held thatcher.

After continuing my research using the term Thatcher that fhrjr2 gave me I was able to find two others from around the same time with a similar design and they were listed as pumpkin choppers, used for cutting up large produce to feed to livestock. Thanks for the tip.
