Folk Art

I recently purchased an older home, c.1924, snd these two large paintings were on the walls in my basement, which was obviously used as a play area for children. I’m guessing a pirate for a boy and Cinderella for a girl. They are oil and quite large approx 4x6. My wife and I love them! I was able to track the artist’s nephew down. The uncle is deceased. The paintings were done in 1959.
