Leather piggy bank made by Japanese maker Kounoike
One of the memories that I have of my childhood is this piggy bank. From as far back as I remember dad had this piggy bank and it always held change. I remember many times sitting with Dad and rolling up change.
approximately 7 1/2 inches overall
When when Dad passed 14 years ago this is one of the items that I had to have. To this day it still holds change and I still roll all the change and take it to the bank.
What a great bank.

From my research I now know they made several of these Banks including...
elephant (in both black and brown leather), a pig, an owl, a whale, lady bug and a bull. There may be more, but that's what I have seen for sale
U got a thing for pigs ....? lol
This one belonged to dad and has a lot of memories of rolling change.
