Found this in a charity shop. Didn't look like this then, had a few years of bugs and general goop in the hollow bottom and they were very resistant to been removed. Fortunately I have some sand blasting sand in the shed, a bit in the bottom and some water and swirl around for a while and this one came clean. I have another where for some reason they put some tacks in it and the rust marks refuse to budge. 260mm high.
get a can of Zudd at the hardware store,..then dampen a Q tip in water & Zudd rub it on count to 3 wipe it off ...rust will be gone ...I have a vase just like this one.. or close...lol
Hi BeepBeep thanks for that but unfortunately down here in the "Land of the Long White Cloud" we don't have Zudd but "her indoors" used to do QC in Laboratories so will get her to check a link I found about what's in it and tell me what might be an equivalent product here. :)
