I am not certain why I am attracted to very large earrings, but I definitely am. One would think I should unfailingly prefer small ear adornment. But I do now have a few of these grand formal beauties.
I will retake the photo of the 3 1/2” thistle set.
1. Monet - 3”.
2. Butler - 2 1/2” round.
3. Unsigned - These came to me as part of a large earring and brooch collection, which included D’Orlan, Sung, Lea Stein, Anne Klein, etc.
4. Thistles - These are somewhat substantial goldtone pieces at 3 1/2”. They each almost look like they could be a brooch. I wear this set quite often.
Gorgeous pairs of earrings, the black & gold are especially elegant - and as a big fan of Butler, love their floral set with rhinestone center
Love the big earrings too. The black and gold are wonderful.
I've always enjoyed large earrings too, but it is 'a look' rather more difficult to pull off successfully as a now middle aged dude...? ;-) :-) :-) <lolol>
Those infinity-thistles are crazy fun -- 3-1/2"?? WOW. Yup, that's brooch size for sure, or pendant even?!
