Hello everybody!!
You may have just seen the frog paperweight I posted yesterday. Well, I thought I'd post this vintage frog hiding inside a valise. This one is a very whimsical and quite unusual piece. The valise is made of spelter, while the frog is made of lead. I'm not sure who the maker of this piece is, but there is a copyright symbol of "©X" on the outside of the valise. I'm also not exactly sure when this one was made, but it's definitely from at least the first half of the 20th century. It's small and measures 2 3/4" log, 2 1/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
