I found these two, identical metal objects in the local thrift store. Height 4 cm. Diam. 8 cm. As usual, the nice, elderly ladies in the store knew nothing about what they were selling. I'm not sure either about what the objects were made for. My best guess is that they are made for protecting rugs from furniture legs. Maybe you have a better suggestion ?
