I HAVE JUST PURCHASED THESE ITEM'S THINKING THEY WERE PIN CUSHIONS, TO ADD TO MY SEWING COLLECTION.
BUT LOOKING CAREFULLY I DO NOT THINK THEY WERE MADE TO HOLD PINS COULD THEY HAVE BEEN MADE AS DOLLS?
THEY ARE HAND STICHED. THE CHICKEN HAS REAL FEATHERS.
THE TWO GENTLLEMEN ARE 7 INCHES TALL AND THE YOUNG GIRL IS 5 INCHES TALL.
ANY INFORMATION OR THOUGHTS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIEATED.

I would say that these were made as dolls . A few years ago you could buy what I call cut and sew dolls at the fabrics department of Wal- Mart . You simply cut them out and sew them together and stuff them . They were flat like these dolls . I have some that I put into one of our Flea Market booths just this past weekend . I would say that the above dolls were made to sit around as decoration around Christmas time .

You can still use them as pincushions...
I think they would look great in your sewing room!
      They are cute ;)
