Hanging Opalescent lamps

Hi,
I've had these hanging lamps for years...they are beautiful opalescent glass with pretty rainbow colors. They are about 18" long and the hardware is really heavy.

If anyone has any thoughts on their age or where they would've hung in a home, please share. My thoughts are that they were boudoir lamps.
