"Retablo"(?), Mexican or Spanish Religious Painting on Metal

This was a gift to myself from a fabulous store that had work from artisans the world over, fair trade agreements and all. I don't know more than that it was called the "Mother and Child" "Retablo"(sp). I love it very much. I am not religious but love many religions symbolism, such as the mother and child, one of my favorite themes. Our Lady of Guadalupe is another image I adore!! Have you heard of the Retablo, I presume they are painted on metal because it is free scrap metal, like the Haitian metal sculptures. I will post my Haitian artwork soon.
